Simple Tips to Keep Your Teeth Healthy

Smiles are the best jewels and you know what is the best part, they are not stereotyped to any specific division of gender. Smiles keep the soul happy and people in the vicinity of a smiling person remain happy too. Recently, I was in Jaipur for a literary fest, post second day of my visit, I experienced severe pain in a portion of the lower jaw. My friends googled up the best dental clinics in Jaipur and with the company of a friend of mine, I visited one such dental clinic.

Even though it is a bit embarrassing to say but my toothache was due to my almost non-existent flossing routine. And at that time at the hospital after my quick treatment, I received simple tips to keep the teeth healthy. The dentist said, if these tips were to be genuinely followed, my teeth would stay healthy and I would need no further inquiry on the Top Dentists in Jaipur.

(Initially, I asked the receptionist if they had the best dentists of the city, I was in dire pain, nothing else came to my mind!) To save you from embarrassing moments like these, I have already mentioned those simple tips, follow them and keep smiling!
  •         Brushing twice a day should be like the bread and butter for healthy teeth.
  •        Use a soft-bristled toothbrush and brush in circular motions. Do not over pressure on your teeth while brushing.
  •        Check the ingredients of the toothpaste before buying, consult a dentist for professional help. There are many medicinal and problem-specific kinds of toothpaste for patients who are suffering from teeth issues such as sensitivity.
  •        Flossing is important, floss on a regular basis and especially after eating to make sure that the spaces between the teeth are clean and no residue sits there. Flossing saves you both from toothache and embarrassment.
  •          Quit smoking. Firstly, smoking is injurious to the health even the very packet of cigarettes print a big warning on the top. Secondly, smoking can cause yellowing of teeth and prove to cause damage to the health of the teeth.
  •      Avoid soft drinks which are colored and/or artificially sweetened. The color in these drinks discolors the whitening of the teeth and the harmful sugar causes tooth decay.
  •          If you are drinking any such artificially colored and sweetened soft drinks, do not forget to clean your mouth and brush after.
  •          Moderate the intake of sugary foods, again, they are not good for your teeth.
  •          It is important to protect your teeth from threat of injuries or damage. If you are playing any sport, make sure to wear protective gear. Also, teeth have a purpose to serve, i.e. chewing, solely employ them for the same.
  •          Last but not least, regular visits to your dentist can keep you updated on what to do and what not to do for healthy teeth.
